Shannon and the Clams is a garage punk rock band from Oakland.
Shannon and the Clams band includes Shannon Shaw, who is on vocals and bass, Cody Blanchard on guitars, and Ian Amberson on drums. The trio met at the California College of the Arts, where they start to perform together.[3] Shaw is also a member of Hunx and His Punx, which is a queer core punk outfit. Shannon and the Clams debut album, I Wanna Go Home, got released in 2009.
