THE BLACKOUT USED TO BE HARDCORE BAND
The Blackout is a post-hardcore band that originated from Merthyr, Tydfil, Wales and was established way back in the year 2003. After their early years of backing up some rock bands like Covergirls, Kinds in Glass Houses, The Guns and Men and many others, they launched their first mini album under the title of The Blackout! The Blackout! In October, year 2007, the band released their debut album entitled We Are The Dynamite followed by The Best In Town in May 2009, Hope in 2011 and their fourth and latest studio album Start The Party which came out January 21 this year.
The Blackout is prominent for their furious live shows consisting of the youthful six-piece use double vocals and searing guitars which create an eargasmic experience to the audience.
