AN AMERICAN ‘EMO BAND’ TODAY
Hawthorne Heights is an American “emo” band that originates from Dayton, Ohio way back in the year 2011. This prominent band consists of their lead singer and rhythm guitarist JT Woodruff, lead guitarist and vocalist Micah Carli, bassist and backing vocalist Matt Ridenour, drummer Eron Bucciarelli and also guitarist Mark McMillon. It was known by few that this American “emo” band was originally named A Day in the Life, coined after the prominent song of The Beatles. Hawthorne Heights then have released three studio albums all under Victory Records, followed by the renaming of their band name.
The limelight paved way for Hawthorne Heights after they released their first two albums The Silence in Black and White last 2004 as followed by If Only You Were Lonely in 2006 which both garnered a Gold certification. Also, their second album was known as it topped the Billboard’s Independent Albums and also No. 3 on the top 200 Billboard charts.
