MAKE WAY TO THE AUSSIES! –PARKWAY DRIVE

FROM NSW, METALCORE BAND!

Parkway Drive is an Australian metalcore band which origination from Byron Bay, New South Wales and was established way back in 2002. Originally, the band’s name was adapted from their hometown in Byron Bay, New South Wales where the band usually held their practices. It is one of the member’s basement at home which is called the Parkway House in the Parkway Drive Street.
After their establishment, the band was able to have their big break and they released a split EP with another metalcore band named I Killed the Prom Queen. Their album name followed their bandnames, I Killed the Prom Queen / Parkway Drive: Split CD and was launched way back in 2003. After that, Parkway Drive was given a chance of a lifetime as they appeared on The Red Sea compilation What We’ve Built which was spearheaded by their EP Don’t Close Your Eyes. Their original line-up did not last long as after their first ever EP, their bassist Brett Versteeg split away with the – and then came their current bassist Shaun cash. Up until now, the band is still hitting up their metalcore gigs and tours and as of 2013, they already released a total of four full-length albums entitled Killing with a Smile, Horizons, Deep Blue and Atlas, to be followed by one EP, two DVDs of another split album and also one book entitled Ten Years of Parkway Drive.
