AN AMERICAN DEATHCORE BAND FROM RIVERSIDE, CALIFORNIA CALLED SUICIDE SILENCE

— Formed in 2002, the band has already released three full-length studio albums, an EP and 7 music videos. The group has had their share of wonderful praises and favorable reviews during the year 2009. Suicide Silence was awarded with the Revolver Golden God award for “Best New Talent”.
The band currently consists of lead vocalist Hernan “Eddie” Hermida, guitarists Chris Garza and Mark Heylmun, bassist Dan Kenny and drummer Alex Lopez.
Suicide Silence was formed back in 2002 in Riverside, California, and at that time were a side project of many of the members of other groups. Their first show was performed at a local area within Riverside and at that time, the band consisted of:  two vocalists, Mitch Lucker and Tanner Womack, Chris Garza and Rick Ash as guitarists, Mike Bodkins as bassist, and Josh Goddard as drummer. Shortly after their first performance, Womack was kicked out from the band and they soon released their first demo the following year.
